Where is the 6-Speed TL?

I did some quick search and some people claim they already have the 6MT. Others claim that their dealer has got the 6MT and gave them a call to test drive. Moreover, some claim that the 6MT is "Limited production" and there will only be 1 6MT per dealer per month while bigger dealers might get 5 6MT per month. Others also state that the 6MT will only be 3% of the total TLs made.

Which rumour is true and which is not?
Any good conformation/guesses will be appreciated.

Justin?

For what its worth (probly not much) the Canadian Acura webpage states the 6MT will be limited production.

6MT TLs are being shipped out right now. There are no restrictions placed on dealers as to how many can be ordered. But over all production on the 6MT will be at around 15% of total TL production. Normally dealers will order 1-2 MTs for the smaller dealers and 3-5 for the larger dealers. In some cases dealers may not order MTs at all unless there is a request for one.

Thanks Justin. The rumors of limited production and long delays had me concerned. My salesman told me that he has ordered my 6MT and we are now waiting to see when it will be built and delivered. I have waited 1 1/2 years to find a car like this and I can wait a little longer. That said, I can't wait until it gets here.

That's awesome!

I think I might go at Stevens Creek Acura next week to try it out. Hopefully they'll have it by then.

FYI 6MT NBP/Parchment was at Acura in Libertyvillle on Wednesday. Salesman I talked to said it was not spoken for. I am not interested in 6MT currently.

^spds have been out for at least 3wks

That's when I got mine at Madison WI. BTW I was at the dealer on sat to pick up my allweather mats, they have not recieved any others since then. There have been various documented new owners at acura-tl.com. Yes, yes the car is all everybody thinks it is and more. The driving expirience is quite different from the auto. The ride is stiffer with much less body lean. Handling and braking are indeed fantastic. Power is a lot stonger than the auto. I have personally clocked it (by stopwatch) at 6 flat. 1/4 mile at around 100mph. Top speed (drag limited) is 147 mph on fith at 6000 RPM. If you want more scientific results you'll have to wait for the mags.
