With competition which manufacturer serves the next most powerful car in the mid-supercar segment Ferrari comes along with the all new 488 GTB and shows McLaren´s 675 LT what´s up with the Italians. With more power and increased acceleration than the 458 the customer should be happy but what´s about the dirty beloved V8 sound?
Thanks to Wheelsandmore from Germany the silence is of the past and they designed a perfect visual-acoustic masterpiece.
From now the available performance upgrade Stage II lifts up the 3.9l V8 engine close to the F12 stock power and closes this gap. The elegant restraint with its sound is no longer a theme for the aerodynamically perfectly styled supercar from Maranello. As soon as the driver hits the open button of the exhaust valve control the coupe and also the convertible version of the Ferrari 488 is transformed into a brute sound monster. By adapting the software and using a F1 air filter the Baesweiler professionals achieve almost tight 730hp and 850 Nm of torque. To achieve even more power a manifold-kit is under development at the moment.
Transforming the Ferrari 488 GTB into a Wheelsandmore Settecento-Trenta still requires replacing the stock wheels. Due to its ultra-concave designed centers and with center-lock look-a-like caps the Ferrari 488 gets more racetrack characteristics. The release shows the brand new wheel model F.I.W.E. which was finished colored matte black with a slightly colored outline adapted to the visually restrained overall concept of the vehicle. The 3-part ultralight forged wheels rotate at the front axle sizing 9,0x21 inch with 245/30/21 ultra-high performance tires and on the rear axle in stately 12,5x21 inches with a maximum wide 345/25/21 barrel from Hankook. The finish of personal taylored wheels is always according to customer´s options in color and surface.
