The Ultimate Accord (a TSX beyond Type-R)
I just stumbled upon this article from Auto Express UK. It's rather old, dating back to March of this year, but I thought it was definitely worth mentioning. I couldn't find a similar post about this article after a brief search, so I apologize if this is a re-post. Anyway, the article discusses and showcases an Accord (TSX) that would "be beyond the performance levels of a Type R," competing with the likes of M3s and S4s. Sound far fetched? Well, although details are sketchy, they say they plan to do it via a hybrid i4, with the front being powered by a conventional 2 liter and the rear powered by an electric motor. The article states it could compete w/ conventional 350bhp cars. This approach reminds me of Lexus' planned hybrid RX330, which is suppose to give V8 like power from a V6 with I4 like fuel efficiency. Regardless of if any of this actually makes production (or any cost issues associated w/ it actually coming out), I pray they offer that body kit for the TSX in the future, because it’s the absolute sexiest TSX I have every seen.
Update
I just noticed in the picture archives that the proposed price is less than $45k US.

Sorry if this was already discussed but...
So Honda has admitted that the euro Accord is capable of having IMA equipped. Which means that the RL might not be the only one with the AWD option? Hmmm... I would like to see how this plays out in the future of Acura models.
Junkster, who thinks all the changes on the car are not that attractive.
