TVR Unleashes New Beast
For those who like their cars very fast and very intimidating, TVR has the ideal machine. This sketch gives a first glimpse of the Sagaris, the car which the Blackpool-based firm will unveil at MPH 03, a live action motor show that begins on 11 December at London's Earls Court.
Based on the T350, the road- legal race car is designed with the track in mind, and promises awe-some performance. While the standard T350 makes do with 350bhp, the Sagaris will boast the 400bhp 4.0-litre straight-six powerplant from the Tuscan S.
At the front, new light clusters will be fitted, along with aggressive-looking scoops to feed more air to the engine. A low spoiler will also be added to help give the TVR the aerodynamic advantages it needs for high-speed motorsport.
In order to increase the Sagaris' stability while cornering, it will have a wider track than the T350, but an experienced driver will be needed to get the best from this TVR chassis. Extensive use of carbon fibre in the cabin should help to keep the newcomer's weight down, resulting in startling throttle responses.

i love the Tuscan S.
i have had dreams about that car...and they were kinda dirty.
BTW this car looks insane, or warped. I guess it just adds to the whole "beast" thing. It does look like a beast.

2005 TVR Sagaris
TVR cars are always somewhat of a unique look...Love the front for this one but the back is kinda strange-looking...
============================
2005 TVR Sagaris
At the British Motor Show last December, TVR released Sagaris, a modified T350 which looked more a prototype than a production car. About 25% of people immediately called it over the top, but the majority of people seem appreciate it. Described with a potpourri: xtreme, shark attack, dreadful, chainsaw, Le Mans, wacky, poison, hardnosed, anabolic, Quick Robin to the batmobile, daring, Max Power, Mike Tyson and visually dramatic.
With its radical aero-devices and aggressive expression, the TVR Sagaris screams latent power just standing still. The new looks comes with the car's concept: it is built up as a race car to comply with sporting regulations. In other words, its a 'pseudo' homologation special, with the weirdest Perspex spoiler we've ever seen.
But, really, what we have here is a wolf in wolf's clothes. Let me explain, under the skin, the Sagaris packs a bold punch, borrowing the mighty 400 bhp TVR Straight Six engine from the Tuscan S. Combing this power with the lightweight carbon fiber body, and developed chassis, Sagaris is one tight package. The chassis itself has a great lineage: Tuscan Speed 6 -> Tamora -> T350 -> Sagaris.
Sagaris' body is much wider and lower than the T350 from which is derives its overall shape. Many aerodynamic devices have been affixed: front slats reduce to wheelarch pressure, an oddball rear diffuser unlike any we've seen before, thermostatically controlled adjustable hood vents and many slashes/holes/lumps/bumps.
Whether or not the styling seen here is the completed article or not is unknown. So far only the stunning silver show car has been completed and it should be appreciated as a work in progress. While it is doubtful we will see large production of the Sagaris, TVR should be commended for throwing away the rulebook and creating a production-worthy car like none of us have seen before. And that is exactly what TVR want. They are not trying to appeal to everyone, and are more interested in producing distinct cars, in limited edition, that everyone talks about.
Specs so far:
Engine & Transmission
Position Front Longitudinal
Drive Wheels: RWD
Configuration: Tuscan Inline-6 Curb
Valvetrain: 4 Valves per Cyl

Looks like two seats to me, but I could be wrong.
I'm actually diggin the entire car except the roofline, that bump doesn't appeal much to me, from a front shot.
Love TVR though, great designs.

TVR Production Restarts - 2008 Sagaris Presented
From Worldcarfans...
Announced this morning by TVR Managing Director, David Oxley, at an exclusive preview event held at the new TVR development works in Lancashire, England - TVR Production has resumed!
Upon the momentous occasion, which included invited members of the TVR Car Club, TVR staff presented the TVR Sagaris model year 2008. Exterior design has remained the same except for new 5 spoke wheels, while the interior receives a new center console with satellite navigation.
As promised back in 2006 by TVR owner, Nikolai Smolenski said "My intention is to expand the sales and distribution of TVR cars throughout Europe, the rest of the world and USA markets is a key part of the business strategy of the company." Built as a left hand drive model, the 2008 Sagaris confirms it will be exported internationally.
Preliminary pricing puts the 2008 TVR Sagaris just below 85.000 Euros.

LHD TVRs in the US!!! I'm even a member at pistonheads....
Love TVRs.... the interior always looks organic. The dash and center stack look funny on the Sagaris (but then so does everything else on the Sagaris) but I'd kill for a new LHD Cerbera.
I don't know about the Sagaris but AP Racing brakes were on older TVRs from the factory!
