Pardon if somebody has already pointed this out -- I don't think it has been noted yet. Honda Corp. has 3 cars on the list. Looks to me like nobody else has more than 1. (Unless you want to count a Mazda as a Ford or something like that, which I don't think we should.)

Also, here's a post by Buff-Daddy back in Sept. which I think shows what an uphill battle the TSX faced in getting on the list, besides how much Honda Corp. would be hogging the list:

I wonder how much back-room politics goes on with 10 Best, Car of the Year, and similar awards. After all, the articles in CD, MT, R/T, are hard to get through without flipping past glossies of new metal rolling to a dealer near you...

On a similar note, I've read people on this board lambast CD for its typically lukewarm reviews of cars not of Teutonic heritage. Is it now time for the summer soldier and sunshine patriot?

We discussed this in another thread. It would seem that if C&D is biased, it is actually biased towards Honda (as well as BMW). Honda always does well in their top ten, ... this is nothing new.

I just noticed...there is also a short video clip on the TSX, a wall paper that shows off the 10 best logo too and a screensaver which i didnt lok at.
