Toyota: RAV4 News

vw + x3/x5= new rav4
i like..... |
Looks good for a Rav 4. Honda will have too step up its game with the CR-V.
I like it!
Looks nice, but now I’m disappointed that we’ll soon have the “older” model sitting in my garage. :(
I still wish I could have gotten a small V6 too. 30MPG is nice on the highways, but pulling out into traffic with only 148HP is tough to adjust to after driving the CL-S. :D |
Looks much nicer than the competition!
My GF got the 2003 AWD Sport model. It's the cutest car ever. Stable and light and useful. The engine choice could be better, like V6 from the Highlander & Camry. This new concept could be better overall. Too much "this and that" styling to make it unique.
The profile really said VW to me, for some reason. But it's a hot car, and I'm not a big SUV guy.
Front looks nice....the rear screams VW Toureg.
i like!
I don't like it. Atleast it doesn't look like anything else on the road though.
not too shabby
lookin good! ...is this a sign of things to come from Honda? A little agressiveness? me likey

:chuckle: Looks like Toyota targetting the X3. This may provide some indication as to the direction of Honda's CR-V as well.
I like the nice, natural progression. Good job Toyota.
Looks pretty good.

it is believed to have returned to the program after Japan's supplier network started talking about a V6 in the next-generation Honda CR-V, due sometime in 2007. |
Mazda should be complimented ... looks like Toyota stole some Mazda 3 5-door drawings :D Interesting that they are going to make it bigger ... as big as the RX330?
not bad, looks like the X3
Looks pretty good. It could compete against the RDX besides the CR-V.
I hate the front. It has to be toned down a bit for the production model.
I liike it, looks good.. Toyota has a winner
"... 3.0 liter V6 is expected to join..."
Ya listening, Acura??? |

Rumors about specs:
- 6 speed, diesel engine - Centre differential LOCK !!!!!!! - DAC (downhil assist control like in Prado) - HAC (hill assist control?) - JBL system with mp3 - Bluetooth - dual zone for all markets - cool optitron instrumentation with some cool orange backlight - smart entry is an option (card key, detects you being close to the vehicle and opens doors) - US and EURO versions have different inside materials (Euro has more soft touch and probably will be a lot more expensive) |

Current one looks better. This one looks like they shrunk a Highlander and called it a day. The light up gauges are nice, though.
Looks kind of like the upcoming Santa Fe
rear end contours remind me of the B9 Tribeca.
the back end is interesting.
I won't hate |
I like teh interior.
not bad! looks much better than the current model :2cents:
Don't really like the style inside or out.
wonder what they're gonna do with Highlander now...
I think they're going to price this thing right out of its target market.
