Toyota Motor Corp. said it made 6.83 million vehicles in 2003, a sign that the Japanese company likely has supplanted Ford Motor Co. as the world's second-largest automaker, behind only General Motors Corp.
If this keeps up, the question in the near future would be. What major car company will TOYOTA buy?

Yeah, the comparison isn't exact. Toyota's already the biggest automaker in the world in terms of profits and net worth

They have the biggest budget in F1. So money is not a problem with them. I see them gobbling up a major German or American car maker to get rid of competition. Right now there’s way too many big players in the auto industry. There’s going to be consolidation very soon.
I agree with that statement. Have you seen how many new Camry's on the road? And they don't even give discounts on them either.
