Serious question: (not trying to be offensive)
Is that car that big, or is your friend that small?

He's probably around 5'6" or 5'7"
The cars height really is short, your waist to the ground will be around 15" and your feet to the ground will be around 5", sot this car is fairly low to the ground stock wise. I'm 6'1" and i have to kinda throw myself out of the car.
The car can surprisingly fit people in the back wen both front seats are taken, but just not very comfortably. IDK how my friend's dad was able to move around behind me because he was taking his own videos as well haha
Some people that worked at Toyota didn't even know what the car was, and some people thought it was a Maserati at first haha. This thing really does catch people's eyes tho.
Things about the car:
-The dashboard feels really nice, the lighting color on the consoles were nicely done, and not too bright.
-No lights for the sun visors w/mirrors.
-6spd manual shifter is pretty short, you don't have to throw it far at all
-The floor mats feel AMAZING, as if it were a real carpet, it has no stitching that says FRS, but it has a metal FRS emblem stitched into it which looks amazing.
-The red accents/stitching makes the interior pop out, but sadly there isn't red stitching on the hand brake
-Pretty loud for a stock car (one thing I noticed about subarus cars is that they're fairly loud for stock)
-Power isn't all that amazing, but the handling makes up for it very little-no body roll wen taking on a corner.
-Clutch is very weird, if you watch the video my friend almost stalls a few times. It engages around the very end of it.
-Braking TIGHT, IDK if it's because it's so light, but it has great stopping power.
-Emblems have no sticky crap, scion/toyota/subaru made it so you can take the badges off with ease.
-Frs has no trunk door carpeting, the BRZ does
-Shifting 1-6 is really easy, in order to get into reverse you have to lift this little lever type thing around the shifter.
-When you open the doors as the windows are closed they drop a few CM, then when you close the door so do the windows.
-No courtesy lights, but it has red reflectors on the doors
-FRS has halogen projectors.... but the BRZ will have HID projectors

Honestly, the car is tiny. But theres a decent amount of space inside. The steering is direct, kind of artificially heavy, but its quick and accurate. The brake pedal is very touchy. but definitely grabs. I kind of cant wait until the stock clutch is toast so I can swap it with a heavy one. Its just way too light, but maybe thats just because Ive been daily-ing a stage 3 clutch for over two years now.
The shifter is a bit notchy, but it may just need to be run in a bit. If not, Ill swap the fluid for some synchromesh. Its very short though. I had no problem finding gears.
Despite its weight, the car feels very solid. The build quality blows the CL out of the water. Im incredibly impressed. Also, don't let the 200hp rating fool you. Its got some decent power. I did a 60-80 pull in 6th gear and it didnt even bog down. The instant fuel reading showed 33.4mpg, we'll see what it really has in it on the trip to KC in June.
Im a bit annoyed that they had wheel locks and the carpeted trunk mat installed at port, thats an additional $130. They tried charging me for the clear bra, but the GM said he would comp me on that. They tried saying the GM wouldnt say something like that, so I pulled out my phone and called him right there That saved me $400.
Im supposed to be getting some extra things from Scion; a numbered 5 Axis Design cf license plate (won't be installed), a numbered pen (big whoop), a $200 gas card (better), a car cover (I like), and some other merchandise.
Right now the car is still at the dealer. I refused to take delivery until the funds from my bank clear into their account. BTW, dealing with an out-of-state credit union is a PITA. But Ive finally gotten that taken care of and got a 2.71% interest rate over 60 months
The car is scheduled to go to Fortune Auto on the 28th. It will be there 3-5, long, painful days being used for measurement purposes and will leave with coil overs
I also received my free Grimmspeed license plate relocator. Wheels will be on the car before it comes out of Fortune Auto. Im debating whether I should crack the stock headlights open and black house them/swap projectors, or just for a decent deal on the BRZ headlights. We'll see. Anyway, once I officially take delivery of the car (should be tomorrow), Ill post up a new thread so I dont continue to derail this one.
PS - That white stuff isn't soap

Forgot to mention, I have #180. They didnt number the VINs 1-86 since the cars were built in batches, which sucks. I wish there was some sort of placard on the car saying that it was a First 86 car, but supposedly Scion will be sending something out. Getting the car to market was kind of a rush job believe it or not.
And my car didnt go through the Port of LA like I originally thought. It came throught Newark. After the test drive, she only had 17 miles on her. I kept picking up on the little nuances (like rev-matching the downshifts will take some getting used to, etc) and the salesman seemed confused. To add to that, the guy that handled the final paperwork had no idea the car was even RWD

Oh what the fuck!
The car is currently locked in their garage.

You can look at the EXIF data! It was taken just before 5pm from my phone!!
When I officially pick it up, Ill take a pic with a stick of butter and some bacon. Will that suffice?
