Meh... The interior looks worse. The shifter plate looks cheap, the radio looks like one of those cheap flashy Aiwa mini home stereos, and the huge cup holders needs to go. I prefer the sliding door that covers the cup holders in the current Legacy.
The exterior though looks a little better minus the turn signals on the side mirrors, the current one looks better.

I like that BMW E60 headlamp treatment. Hopefully, they are bixenons as well. It does look better than the current model, which looks decent also.

I like this front end better and the rearend only seemed to change the bumper. I like!! Just add bixenons, Sirius radio and the WRX STi's 293hp motor and I would offload $30k for it.

I wonder what are the chances of this car coming to North American shores...?

It does look realy nice, though. Alls it needs is LED taillights, the TL's interior (though I think the gauges are better than the TL's), and it's a solid luxury vehicle.

Some info from Autoblog.com...
Yesterday, Subaru announced the Subaru Legacy "tuned by STi" package for the Japanese market. Limited to 600 units total, the tuner kit can be ordered for either the Legacy Wagon or Legacy B4 (sedan). No engine modifications are part of the package since it's available only for the 2.0 GT spec.B trim, which already features Legacy's top-of-the-line 280-horsepower mill.
The list of add-ons includes the following:
Sport suspension feat. Bilstein dampers
18" STi wheels
STi front and rear spoilers
Brembo brake upgrade
Leather/Alcantara seating with red contrast stitching
STi electro-luminescent gauge pack
STi badging
STi muffler with dual tip
Al of those are applied to the recently-facelifted Legacy, which looked great to begin with, to give it a decidedly sportier look and feel than the already-impressive spec.B model. In addition to the body style, buyers can choose between 6-speed manual or 5-speed (paddle-shift) automatic transmissions. Pricing ranges from ¥3,979,500 ($34,700 USD) to 4,116,000 ($35,800 USD). Dealers are taking orders now, and deliveries will commence in February.

whats wrong with a sports wagon
and its more sports sedan than luxury vehicle so it doesnt really need a TL-like interior

Am I the only one that sees Saab 9-3 Sport Combi in the wagon? Is that because of the "relationship" between the two (read Saab 9-2x and WRX wagon)?
The sedan is nice......now if only I lived in the northeast where the all wheel drive would really come in handy...
