A-SPEC installation

I like the A-SPEC body kit and extra, but have a reservation based on seeing it in person at my local dealer. Every trim pc I've seen installed doesn't quite fit perfectly so there ends up being a small gap between the original body and the kit part.

Is this common practice for body kits (OEM or aftermarket)?

Would the body kit leave scratches on the original body over time? If so then one would have to assume if you install one your best to leave in on.

Look at these three high res pictures to see what I'm referring too. Is this to be expected or can it be installed better?
