Here is what I found on the net:

But basically it is said to use a revised 2.4L engine thats found in the Camry tuned to around 185hp. They said xenon, sunroof, and 17" wheels will be standard on the new "Tc", which will be a sporty 2-door coupe. Pricing is said to be "well under 20k".

i think the CL has a great lookin rear, if anything, its the front or the seemingly confused design of the front vs the rear that turns people off to the car.

btw, i never said i like the rear of this tC. i havent liked anything Scion has proposed.

if all the celica talk is true and if it outperforms the current gts it should be a very cool car.

I am now reading that the engine for the new Scion tC will be a version of the 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder engine in the Camry.

I think it sounds promising because 2.4 liters will be more than enough for a lightweight Scion.

The tC will go against the 2 door Civic, Toyota says. And it makes sense I think.

Looks like Toyota has added a car for the 'boy racer' crowd.
The overall look of the car looks pretty good, with just enough edge and demeaner to separate it from the Toyota siblings.
Yea, personally, I like the looks of this car over the civic. But really can't make any judgements till I actually see it and/or drive it.

Junkster, whose interview's in two hours.

Hmmm. Looks like Toyota went digging around the BMW, Hyundai, Subaru, and Nissan design studios. ANYHOW, sounds like a nice car. But right now, I'd take any car over the Civic which IMO, has become overweight for it's 127 hp engine and lack a lot of the character that once was the pride of the Civic line.

Why bother bringing the Scion brand to Canada when Toyota Canada already sells the Echo hatchback, while the US just has the Echo coupe and sedan.

I agree I like the Scion xB and tC, but for some reason this tC screams BMW. The headlights look like Z4 style and the side kinda resembles the new 6 series.

I think it looks like a coupe version of the Audi A4. The rear end especially looks like an A4.
