ION Red Line Sets Bonne Speed Record

Saturn says a race-prepared ION Red Line Quad Coupe has set a new speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Last Friday, Saturn says, the hotted-up Quad Coupe with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four set a G/Blown Fuel Altered class speed record of 212.684 mph. GM says that slashes the record set by a Honda Civic of 183.086 mph set in 2001. The record-setting Saturn will be on display at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Nov. 4-7 in Las Vegas.
