I saw a CLK Black around here last year. It's the only one I've seen and when he goosed it a little bit it sounded like heaven.

And it looked like it was worth every bit of the $200k it costs too.

The SL65 and SL65 Black are actually two different cars. Your title says SL65 but the car pictured is an SL65 Black.

And I'd have an SL65, that wide-bodied rear on the Black just does not look right

The Blacks look amazing in person though ... Especially when you're behind one

Wider rear tires please... The 2007 SL65 I drove was amazingly fast but I'll be damned if those tires could actually handle all that the car is capable of. Then again, it is Mercedes where they dumb down every product significantly through their traction control system.

Funny... guess you don't understand that the AMGs can have the traction control turned off by the driver. Obviously you meant "Lexus/Toyota" instead of Mercedes.

Of course, the Top Gear review of the C63 shows that the rear tires don't last long when this is done...

Yeah sorry to correct you, but until the CLK63 Black Series no AMG car had traction control that could be fully turned off. You could only turn down the level of interference.

Well your response what about an AMG that came out in 2010, wasn't it? The CLK Black came out prior to the SL Black and the 2008 C63 allowed traction control to be fully disabled... Sorry to correct you.
