Rear seat vent.. (???)

Hey all, I can't seem to figure out how to get constant air flow through the rear sent vents. (and yes, I'm smart enough to make sure the vents are open) The only way I can get air moving through them is to cycle through the "mode" button on the dash so that the arrows are pointing at the feet and face. And I usually leave it on "full auto," so I'm a little confused here. Help?

I know on our old 01 TL, air came through so long as the vents were open - no questions asked.

Mine works when manually put in vent position, or vent/feet.

If in full auto, they will only go on when the system thinks it should be in the vent position.

I think there are also vents under the front seats for the back, have not checked but I thought I felt air from there also when on floor position.

There is a double air outlet under each front seat. Each outlet is shaped like an inverted 'Y', with a single duct splitting into two ducts each of which points to one side.

Like everyone else, I haven't seen much sign of airflow in the back.

That is quite odd, because as I said, in the old TL air would come through nonstop. Looks like I'll have to make a call....because it sounds like nobody has any insight here and the manual says nothing. I'll let ya'll know what I find.
