"Pure 04TSX" w/extra power - Myth or Reality?

This comment was buried in another thread -- can anyone substantiate or discount this suggestion of TSX model changes beginning this October? If there are changes, which are likely or plausible?

(The "Pure 04" was meant as changes coming with the release of the other 04 models.)

I don't own a TSX, yet, but am shopping seriously now. If there's some truth behind this comment, more horsepower or torque would be worth waiting a few months for.

Thanks ...

If Comptech actually decides to release some parts. We'll see.

I'm highly skeptical I/H/E would release 25 extra ponies.

supposedly someone saw an add in a SCC for comptech headers for the tsx and gains were only like 6 hp or so. A little surprising as the tsx top end seems to struggly a tad. The only intake available so far is a AEM Short ram which gives fat gains...8-9hp and a consistant 5lbft or so over 3000rpms(max is 6.5 at 6000 i think) Ivtec motors seem to respond very well to intake mods so I wouldn't be surprised to see comptechs ice box go 10hp 10lbft. Who knows what will happen with the axel back. But if you assume the tsx is actually pushing a few more horspower than the rsx(tsx dynos a couple hp higher in general while having significantly bigger + heavier tires) you could claim stock tsx is around 205hp or so.(some claim 210) If you can get another 10-15 hp at the wheels you are getting close to the 220-225 hp range.
