Pick-up checklist
I'll be collecting mine on Thursday. Any suggestions of what I should be checking for?
They'll be adding a few accessories that I should QA: body side modling and back-up sensors, wood gear shifter. What should I look for?
Seperately, anyone need any pics?

Just the usual,
Exterior check paint, finish, alignment of panels, dents, dings, or scratches, alignment of body panels (my lower plastic rocker panel was not lined up with the front fender), also my dealer told me some are comming in with loose door handles.
Interior, check for color match of materials, make sure carpet is not wet (possible leak), look under floor mats, make sure everything works.
Road test - make sure alignement is ok (complaints on this), no vibration (complaints on this from tire balancing), no rattles, or clicking sounds (complaints from glove box, head liner, dash, and drivers windows)
Radio, check for vibration with bass up from doors and rear shelf (some complaints on this).
Most can be fixed later, but good to note from the get go.

Pics, yes! That's my most likely color combo and would love some good shots of it (although I've already seen it in person, it would still be nice to have photos... 8) Since it's Thursday I hope you got it and all was well.
Thanks,
Jim

I'm waiting until early next year anyway, but even then they might go with MSRP especially if you are up for a 6-speed. They got atleast 5 TLs at Stevens Creek with 1 marked "Sold" and I'm sure the demand is totally up there as I saw their deposit list with 25+ people.
I hope thier list dies soon and then it will be a good time to buy.
I think I'm going to try 3 dealerships when I'm ready to buy but I like customer service best at Stevens Creek. Usually around MSRP -800 or so is possible although I paid 300 over invoice on the junk I bought about 3 yrs ago. (Nissan Altima)

That's great! And those 100 miles don't seem anything to me. Maybe someone should go to one of those dealers with 12 TLs, maybe they will get a good deal since no one seems to go there, haha.
