I used to enjoy driving my brothers 97 maxima, even with 80k miles on it.
But he bough a 2004 maxima last year and i still cant myself to enjoy it. I like nothing about it and it feels cheap and floaty compared to his old one.

That thing is huge !! and it makes me giggle when I see it Just because you don't see it in the spy shots doesn't mean it won't be on the production version. They like to debadge and disguise the test mules...

What Would Don Draper Do?
i almost bought a 2005 se. it came down to that and the tsx. i was very, very close to purchasing a smoke exterior/black leather. i was biased with the maxima because my previous car was a '96 maxima, which i loved dearly and still miss to this day.
but then something hit me. i didn't mind the exterior of the maxima...except the grill. but that would have been ok because i was gonna get an aftermarket grill. the size was kinda big for just me, but i didn't think it was that big of a deal. what really hit me upside the head was the interior! the suede along the interior was just fugly! i dunno how i failed to catch it. i mean, i'm gonna be driving a car, and when i'm driving, i want to be in a nice looking interior.
then of course i realized how blinded i was by my previous car and how much more i'll get with the tsx for roughly the same amount of money.
but i hope they do a good job with the maximas because i'm still partial to it, and i want it to be a nice car.

Just go to the car lineup page at Nissan-JDM. They don't have that many sedans for sale as they used to. No other model on sale in Japan currently looks anything like that.

Why does Nissan like Orange/Amber lighting?
That is the only thing I detest about Nissan/Infiniti.
Their car designs and fun to drive factor and quickness are better than Honda/Acura cars, but I prefer the Blue/White lighting Honda/Acura uses.
That is the only thing I detest about Nissan/Infiniti.

i dont like the amber interior lighting either, but i wouldn't let that be much a factor over everything else nissan delivers
btw, max interior does look a lot better

Nissan has released the first images of the 2007 Maxima — an updated version of the popular midsize sedan. The car receives changes inside and outside. Most notably, the front of the car has been updated, with the rear largely untouched. Tomorrow, Nissan is expected to unveil the new Altima and G35.
