I shoot people
saw one of these on the road for the first time... from the back... VERY nice. I got to pull up next to it before I had to turn, still not too keen on the headlights tho...

Chloe @ 17mo
I parked next to a red version today. Very berry nice Muscular and curvy. I didn't mind the headlights so much in person, given how well resolved it is with the fenders. I wish that AWD is available, cause then I'd buy it over the 09 TL

Delay
Nissan confirmed back in June 2008 that it will be bringing a clean-diesel version of the Nissan Maxima to the U.S. by 2010. The move would have marked the first clean-diesel for the U.S. from Nissan. However, plans are now expected to change and the Japanese automaker will be joining several other automakers that are putting the brakes on their diesel launch strategies.
A spokesman told AutoObserver that there is “no official word yet” regarding the diesel engine for the 2010 Maxima.
“We’re reviewing our mid-term product plans right now [some to be delayed, some potentially canceled], but nothing in concrete as yet,” the spokesman said.
The 2010 Nissan Maxima was confirmed to get a 3.0L V6 turbodiesel produced by its partner Renault.

I still don't understand the point of this car anymore. It's no different from the Altima in any discernible way and if someone wanted a real 4-door sports car from Nissan, they'd just go buy a Q50.

I'd take that over the $35k TLX tech 4 banger.

Is Nissan trying to out-ugly Acura? That thing is hideous.

THAT is an ugly car. It's even uglier than the 4G TL, and THAT was ugly. Nissan needs to go back to the drawing board. I have always loved the design of Maximas going all the way back to the early 90's. This one I definitely don't love.

Man that is hideous, it looks like a landbarge on wheels with way to much going on. That classic Monte Carlo crease from the side front is not working on this at all. It makes you wonder what the new Z is going to look like, especially since it or the Max are high volume for them and aren't really needed so use them to take risk...Its already getting pretty bad remarks for its styling.
