Nissan Bluebird Sylphy
Nissan says Bluebird Sylphy is designed and engineered around the concept of a luxury medium-sized sedan that you'd be proud to welcome guests into. The interior is the latest iteration of Nissan's Modern Living concept, and the exterior design features distinctive S-shaped curved body lines. Highlights of cabin include a curved instrument panel and a storage compartment incorporated into the center console which also doubles as an armrest.

wow, I never realized that a little wood in the right places can make such a difference. Even that Nissan steering wheel looks nice.

Hmmm, Corola sans Toyota anyone?

I do like the interior, but I hope Nissan starts upping the quality of their plastics.

Yeah, I see the resemblence too, but the M looks much better, IMO. It's like they wanted to improve on the M's face, but did the opposite. I like the interior and the rear's okay... it's a tall, narrow car and lookks like a TSX competitor, IMO.

Interior is nice.
I don't care for the front end design, and the roof line looks too tall.

The Bluebird was the first gen Alitma, so it's about the size of a TSX. It's not for the USDM, so who knows what it'd be here. I think it would come over as an Infiniti badged TSX competitor.

This Bluebird looks like a budget Infiniti M. If this winds up being the 4G Altima, I hope the one pictured is some sort of stripper model (i.e.: 2.5S). That said, the interior looks WAY nicer than the current 3G Alti and kinda resembles a mix between the M and the 1G/2G Alti.

It definitely has some potential.

Wasn't the Altima called the Stanza before the 1st gen Altima came out?

That should be the new Sentra, it would be at the top with the Jetta in the econo market as far as interior goes.

Didn't Nissan say they weren't going to have a FWD car in the Infiniti lineup?

That's exactly what Nissan says, and I hope they keep it that way. It was just speculation on my part. This car is almost two big to be a Sentra; it's not a compact, it's a small midsize (like the Euro Accord/TSX and first Altima). This car isn't sold in the U.S., and I don't see it coming here. The new sub-sentra models that will compete against the Aveo, etc., will allow the Sentra to be sold as a more premium model, though... who knows. I think we'll have to wait and see. I don't think the Bluebird is coming over in any form or fashion.

It'll get the job done in JDM. It's not "exciting" enough for the US market.

I really like the interior. Always love the use of Rosewood. With a few exterior tweeks, the exterior could be better.

Doesn't matter when the Korean companies have yet to pass the 3yr reliability test (what should be 5 yrs ).
