Mazda Ryuga Concept News
Mazda Ryuga Concept - - By Dave Axberg - - Source: http://www.automobilemag.com/
Ryuga means "gracious flow" in Japanese, and it also happens to be the name of the concept car that Mazda will be introducing at the 2007 Detroit auto show. Mazda’s intention with the Ryuga is to further develop its concept vehicles’ design language.
This new language was introduced just this fall at the Los Angeles Auto Show with the Nagare, which is Japanese for "flow". So let’s see; first "flow" then "gracious flow". We can hardly wait to see what kind of flow comes next. Anyway, expect a third installment in this series in the next few months, since the auto show season is just halfway over.
Mazda says the Ryuga concentrates on refinement and sophistication by combining high quality materials, excellent craftsmanship, and innovative details. The Ryuga’s most prominent features are its wind swept bodywork, gull-wing doors, and bulging fender flares. It’ll be interesting to see how this look translates into a third concept car and perhaps a production model down the line.

Damn. Mazda can do alot with this concept.. maybe an RX-7 Return based off it? Perhaps they can base most of the lot of cars off its platform like nissan did with the 350.
