I don't think I ever used the tilting/telescoping part of my steering wheel in my TL.
It's still the same as how it was when I drove my TL out of the dealer lot

I'm going to need you to understand that I have a loaded NC Miata and it does not have the ability to telescope the steering wheel. Doing a google search and nothing seems to come up for telescope steering on the Miata either
So apparently the Miata lost something it never had in the first place.
My NC does have tilt steering though.
No idea why you'd even need telescope steering in the Miata. The cabin is damn small with the wheel pretty close to the driver already

Yes, I realize that :JS:

Yeah, but in the case of the Miata, it makes no sense. With the driver's seat all the way back, I still sit closer to the wheel than I do in the TL. Way closer.
I really don't think you want the wheel any closer. It can cause injuries if the airbag goes off...

I didn't want to lose my heated seat for the winter track days. Now it's perfect!!! The stock seats in BRZ are very nice.

Wait, do you mean telescoping (in/out) steering wheel, or tilting (up/down)?
If the ND lost the tilt function, I'm a little sad. If it wasn't for that function, I'd likely have a hard time driving my NC. Sad face. Mega sad face.
If you actually mean telescoping... I don't think any Miata ever had the in/out feature...

Who cares. S2000 is the benchmark and its steering wheel is freaking fixed.
So anything is better than that..

The biggest downfall of the s2000 is the fixed steering wheel. I'd be driving one now if it wasn't for that
Otherwise, perfect

Alcantara seats?

Those seats look great, but I'd expect more bolstering for Recaros. Looks as if it's the same amount as the stock seats.

I want to say I've read they are a little more supportive than stock, but not dramatically so.
Still Recaro =
And I like the leather/alcantara over the plain black cloth in the Club.
I'd rather spend extra on these than the BBS/Brembo package. Or both

interestingly enough... the NC seats have a complete lack of bolstering on them, yet, no matter how hard I throw the car into a corner, I still feel like I'm being held in place. It's the overall small quarters that seem to do their job and the additional bolstering doesn't seem as necessary to get the job done.
I'm guessing this is the same case for the Recaro seats in the ND.

When I drove a stock NC Miata, I was all over the place.
By the way, Alcantara isn't just for the looks, it actually hold your butt much better than the leather seats.

200hp from BBR in the UK
Video at link.
26 years ago, Mazda unleashed the MX-5 Miata NA into the world. Fast-forward to the present day and here we are with the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata ND - the fourth generation of the best-selling two-seater sports car in history. But are 160 horsepower and 1,075 kg (2,370 lbs) enough to get your kicks?
Well, this editor believes that's about enough to get the right dopamine fix from a spirited driver's point of view. Still, there's a Toyota GT86 looming on the horizon, animated by a 200 horsepower boxer engine. As such, the aftermarket scene comes to help the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata ND 2.0 and its 160 BHP SkyActiv-G motor. Cue BBR, a British outfit that celebrates 25 years since it started tuning the ever-popular MX-5.
BBR director Neil Mckay declared roughly nine months ago that his company's "objective with the all-new MX-5 is to achieve the same 200 BHP output that we can easily enjoy with simple bolt-on components on the current 2.0-liter NC model.” And guess what? BBR GTi kept its promise to us enthusiasts and what you can admire in the video and photo gallery below is the fruit of the British company's labor.
So how did they squeeze the extra 35 BHP?
The simple answer to this question is nobody knows yet. The tuning package isn't official at the time of writing. All we have is the previously mentioned declaration from the BBR director and the adjacent video evidence of the tuned Japanese roadster. Considering that BBR took the Mazda3 2.0 120 all the way to 185 brake horsepower without resorting to forced induction, the MX-5 Miata ND should churn out 200+ BHP.
As we wait for BBR GTi to make an official announcement about the Mazda MX-5 Miata ND tuning package, specs included, we can tell you that the goodies basket include a StarChip Mazda ECU remap, a 4-2-1 configuration exhaust manifold, Bilstein shocks, OZ alloy wheels, a revised geometry, some black decals on the side body and bonnet, as well as an integrated boot spoiler and a subtle lip spoiler.
The DIY version of the BBR Super 200 package (name not confirmed) for the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata ND should retail for roughly £1,700, which translates to $2,765 or €2,475 sans the wheels and shocks. An optional BBR exhaust should be in the pipeline too, as well as a Cosworth-developed supercharger system.

I loved the white one. Looked fking sexy with the front lip and trunk lip. I can picture this car looking super aggressive with some tweaks here and there.

Ceramic is what I'm waiting to see in person. I drove a Crystal White Pearl GT, but there isn't much difference between Arctic white & CWP. Arctic white is just a little more flat looking.
