there's kind of an M in there, it's just rounded and the top and bottom ends are connected

I think the emblem also came from Mazda's short-lived idea of their own luxury brand called "Pegasus" or something like that. I can't recall if the 929 or the Millenia was the first car that was supposed to be under that brand.

Holy hotness...

The exterior is definitely a looker. The interior still needs some work, but is improving.

not too big on the rear of the sedan.

nevertheless, this car looks very, very good. better than the accord, in my opinion.

mazda's been really getting my attention with their looks: the previous 6 (before it got outdated), the 3, cx-7, cx-9, and yes, the rx-8.

and the wagon is hot.

Looks very nice. Hot, but I do have some qualms....the rear glass portion of the rear door looks completely contrived. Too many cuts in the glass. The brake lights looks like the chrysler sebrings tails. And from experience, hopefully Mazda switch gear and interior materials have gotten better feeling. In the recent past, Honda still has better feeling buttons, switches, and material quality.

Overall however, it looks a bit more cohesive than the new accord. It looks youthful and sporty. Only the Accord coupe has this sort of flair (at least as much flair as a family car can really have).

Appearance-wise, I do think the 6 sedan does look better than the new Accord. Now ... will it drive as nice? (re: Zoom-zoom) Perhaps Mazda will have more 'sport' than highway ride compliance. Guess I'll have to test drive one to make a fair comparison.

On a lighter note, Wow ... Madza is using Bose speakers for the 6! It's gonna sound great in there.

Wow, I hope the production is not watered down - even the wagon looks great. The one interior shot shows a 6 sp MT - couple that with a new engine and keep the weight down and it will be a real nice car.
