Along with their new body kit, Lingenfelter have announced five new upgrades for the Camaro SS engine including a Twin-Turbo option with the LS7 from the Corvette Z06.

With the help of a 4340 crank and rods as well as Garrett Turbochargers, the kit should offer 800 bhp. Lingenfelter will also be offering body enhancements for the new 2010 Camaro later this summer. Enhancement package will include:

Front Fascia & Rocker Extension
Front Splitter
Grille Bar Insert with Wire Mesh Texture
Hood with Air Extractors
Rear Deck Lip Spoiler
Rear Fascia Extension with Exhaust Tips
Rear Tail Lamp Panel


800 HP Intercooled Twin Turbo

- Engine removal, disassembly and inspection
- Chevrolet LS7 7.0 L aluminum block
- Chevrolet LS7 aluminum heads
- Callies 4340 forged steel crankshaft - 4.000” stroke
- Lingenfelter CNC porting of LS7 cylinder heads
- Lingenfelter multi-angle valve job, cc, surfacing & assembly
- Stainless steel intake valves and heavy duty Inconnel exhaust valves
- Competition Cams dual valve springs, titanium spring retainers, 10 degree locks
- JE Forged aluminum pistons and tool steel pins
- Manley 4340 forged steel “I” beam connecting rods
- Computer balanced crankshaft & rotating assembly
- File fit rings, heavy duty rod & main bearings, head gaskets, head bolts

Aside from the front fascia and rocker extensions and the spoiler, this looks good. That extra part that comes down (yes, I know it's functional) is just a bit much, and the spoiler is huge (again, I know it's functional). Still, for the most part, it's an aesthetics package that helps the Camaro's looks...exactly what I was hoping someone would make. That side shot is awesome.

Take off the yellow chevy logo and everything looks good. That yellow plus sign always throws off the look on their cars.

Couldn't agree more. It's a small detail but it makes a lot of difference. When I bought my 99 Tahoe Sport the first thing I did was replace the Chevy emblem on the grill with a billet aluminum emblem (it was black and red). Looked 10x better. Every time I see a Ford or a Chevy emblem I wonder why they colorize them...just looks cheap.
