2007 Lincoln Navigator
Lincoln also unveils its refreshed 2007 Navigator/Navigator L, which so far retains its well-known name. Navigator gets 24 cubic feet of extra cargo space, a stiffer frame and a new wrapper for the Lincoln-minded rapper.

It's a retro American interior theme. Actually I think it will look better in black. As for the exterior,

the guages and interior are unique and different. i don't really like lincoln's rears as of late, and the front looks too "busy" for me. i prefer the new escalade...but it looks mean though.

Whole thing not only looks like a step backwards but they managed to make it ugly. That interior looks about as luxurious as it does in the Zephyr and the gauge design looks like a throw back to the 80's. Maybe black will look better, but it has nothing exciting about it.

This was one of the best interior Ford has ever managed to come up with.

wow, even the rear looks fugly. It looks as awkward as the first Navigator. It took the second generation to look more proportional.
Good job Ford! Licoln is on it's way back....literally!!

Wow, the more I think about that thing the more upset I get. Is it really that hard to make a nice car? I mean, don't these things have to go thru some filtering process before someone OK's them? I am no automotive guru but even I know that thing is ugly.

Doesn't Bill see these things and say like, "what the fuck are you guys doing?"

All I'm saying is, you said your friend has a Navi and it drives like a dream. But then you said it's "...still a Ford." My point is, Ford will never be known for "the best of products," or even be seen without prejudice with statements like that. That said, I agree with you on this current Navi. The chrome is overkill, and with the new Escalade being as nice as it is, Lincoln might have shot themselves in the foot. Still, there's a bunch of tacky people out there who will love it.

Yeah. Now that the next Lexus will be on the truly full-size next gen Sequoia, they'd have to really screw it up to not steal sales from this gaudy Navigator. The Escalade's a no brainer; it'll sell like crazy.

Some suggestions:

Remove the top chrome peice on top of the grill where it meets the top surface of the hood and make the Lincoln emblem smaller. On the lower grill; it should stop flush with the headlights above. If they did that, the front end would look much nicer.

The interior is alright. The gauge cluster looks like it literally came out of my dad's old 86' Town Car. If Lincoln stayed with the same cluster, this interior would be much nicer. I am guessing that Ford will make some changes to this vehicle shortly after sales decrease. Another beef of mine: 300HP!!! This is a PREMIUM vehicle and should have more power than the Expedition. This car should have no less than 350HP. The new Escalade comes with a tad over 400.

I agree and disagree. As I stated in a previous post, the Escalade KILLS the Navi in the Powertrain department. Over 400HP and a six speed auto with cylinder deactivation can't be beat in the Escalade. It kills the RR, and everything else. As far as the guage, that's one retro aspect that I like. What's wrong with them? Because they're a throwback to that '86 Town Car? I guess it's a matter of taste... I think they're very well done. I wouldn't necessarily like it in a sporty coupe; but in a luxo SUV I think they're cool...
