I'm not sure on this, but I do believe the Audi A8 W12 was the first production car with LED headlights, but it was a secondary system to the Xenon HID. On the Lexus, they look to be the primary source of illumination.

that's what i mean though...they're changing it up a bit because they usually copy mercedes.
It's pretty hard to come up with a really original design, at least Toyota is trying to make its own Lexus look with that L-Finesse thing.
I am still stoked over the LED headlights. Basically 3 LED flashlights in each headlamp cluster. I do notice that extra lense in the corner of the headlight...probably Xenon. My guess is that, while very cool, the LED just wouldn't illuminate the road as well as the Xenon,
so Lexus made it complementary to the Xenon.

'ing over the LED's. So glad to finally see em in a production car.The "extra" light is most likely the high-beam. The LED's will be plenty bright enough for low-beam.
Yeah maybe I'm just extremely boring or something, but I really like these new Lexus designs. They seem to screem class without having to resort to strange or awkward designs like the new BM's and Merc's to a lesser degree. I've really liked the new GS and the IS, and the LS appears to just take the same approach. The only one I don't like is the ES, but even that is a big time improvement over the Kermit the Frog look of the previous model. BTW, I still like the design of the TL and TSX, I wish they allowed the same design to be used in the RL.

...
funny. Am I not stating the obvious that there's 26 mins of blank graph on the screen?? Don't believe me? try it yourself.
This isn't the first time I got doubted on on this forum. I still remember the guy who called BS on me for stating there's no such thing as a CSX haha.
