i persoanlly think, altho i LOVE lexus, the ls430 is one of the most plain looking (and perhaps even ugly) car on the market...however, the int. is soooooooooo beautiful

iMO, the current RL looks better than the ls430

as always with lexus that doesnt mean SHIT tho. they just means they have to bump displacement so their namin convention keeps up with Benz.

"Quieter, more comfortable and stylish interior"

The freaking interior in a LS is so damn quiet to begin with. Nothing like improving on perfection.

Soon it will get soooo quiet inside that they will offer an "White Noise" option in the stereo system.

Hey guys, I also agree the LS is one boring ass car to drive and look at. But guess what, unlike some cars that PRETEND to be something, the LS does not. It is trying to be the best luxury sedan, not the best sport sedan. It's not sold nor marketed that way. Independent studies and some car magazines say for the money, you can't get or ask for anything more. If u want that prestige badge, by golly pay for it.

Obviously, the LS is not for you and me. Not until we are 80. lol

Doesn't Lexus market its GS series as its sport sedan?

Next Gen. Lexus LS News **First Drive (page 12)**

Lexus LS:

- Will have a base engine of 4.5 or 4.6L (so LS450/460?)
- There'll be a "GT" model with a 5.0L engine
- Design will be "showcar"-like

This is obviously a rendition. Personally, I doubt the next LS will look as sporty. The IS maybe, the LS, doubt it.

The current LS is already one if not the segment leader in sales. And it looks bland as toast (though the 04 freshning helps alot to me). If they make it a better looking car and hold the price, I can't imagine the possibilities.

that look shot... but it looks like an artists interpretation of what a new lex will look like based on that design concept and new gs.

prolly wont look like this at all.

the current LS is boooooooring. in every way.

def needs improvement.

only car in that segment more boring then it is the RL

please dont tell me im the only one who noticed that this supposed rendering/concept photo is a HORRIBLE CHOP JOB of a BMW 6 series coupe with lexus grilles, lights, etc. gimme a break. look at the profile, look at the window profiles, the overall size, the way the back windows are shown, its all 6 series BMW photoshopped to show 4 doors and lexus emblems.

while the actual information may be true, or somewhat true, the pictures and drawings that those jap car mags put out are some seriously shitty photchops ALL THE TIME and inevetably, alot of people are fooled into thinking these slop job photoshops are even remotely legit.

This looks closer to GS then LS... LS is about (styling-wise) class not sports, same as BMW 740 etc. I doubt that this will turn out to be the LS.

I thought the same thing. I like the styling. Reminds me a bit of the new TL.

Whether it's a knockoff of the Passat, Ford 500, BMW 6-Series, the styling is just too derivative for my tastes. Lexus needs to hire designers who aren't afraid to be more innovative.

Looks good. If they keep it close to what we're looking at (Gav's first pic), we'll finally have a LS with favor.
