I also like this color combo. I don't think it's as good as the Audi's interior design still, but it is almost as good.

As usual, Lexus ripped off BMW's design cues. It's a good looking car though.

I love it, but the interior is still not as nice looking as the A8 IMO.

I think Lexus is doing a great job creating a harmony in their lineup. Before, no models resembled another Lexus model. Even the interior look similar between IS, GS, and the LS.

BTW, I wonder how much better if any are LED headlights compared to HID's. I'm also wondering what kind of wattage ithey use, I know that HID's uses 35 watts steady after initial startup.

Wow! This is really nice. I think it looks nicer than even the new S class.

I'm not sure on this, but I do believe the Audi A8 W12 was the first production car with LED headlights, but it was a secondary system to the Xenon HID. On the Lexus, they look to be the primary source of illumination.
actually, i wouldn't call Audi's LED headlights "headlights" at all. They were just daytime drivnig lights, like marker lights.

It uses the "Bangle Butt" and many of the design cues bare a striking resemblence to the 750i.

It's pretty hard to come up with a really original design, at least Toyota is trying to make its own Lexus look with that L-Finesse thing.

I am still stoked over the LED headlights. Basically 3 LED flashlights in each headlamp cluster. I do notice that extra lense in the corner of the headlight...probably Xenon. My guess is that, while very cool, the LED just wouldn't illuminate the road as well as the Xenon,
so Lexus made it complementary to the Xenon.

7 lense Xenons. Those are hella bright too, but LEDs are in vogue these days. I think the Q45's lights with LED would provide quite a light show for oncoming traffic!

How do you add songs to the HDD? 802.11g + a home computer would be a sweet way!

No, they're HID. They're just seven lenses that project light towards different angles on the road; some project forward, downward, and way far off to the sides.

Yeah I am 'ing over the LED's. So glad to finally see em in a production car.

The "extra" light is most likely the high-beam. The LED's will be plenty bright enough for low-beam.

Yeah maybe I'm just extremely boring or something, but I really like these new Lexus designs. They seem to screem class without having to resort to strange or awkward designs like the new BM's and Merc's to a lesser degree. I've really liked the new GS and the IS, and the LS appears to just take the same approach. The only one I don't like is the ES, but even that is a big time improvement over the Kermit the Frog look of the previous model. BTW, I still like the design of the TL and TSX, I wish they allowed the same design to be used in the RL.

that LS600h looks really really sharp in black. Does this LED option come on the standard petrol engines?

Gimme that A8, please!

The Lexus is nice but doesn't excite me in the way the Audi does.

A8 uber alles. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. I believe the redesign will truely put it ahead of the others, in my book at least.

Look at the graph closely. It's getting 0mpg for the last 26 mins. 26 mins of idling will do that. But I thought the hybrid shut off the engine at idle? Yeah but he could've had the A/C at full blast orthat they've been demoing the car so the battery is down to two bars which forces the computer to run the engine to charge the battery.

funny. Am I not stating the obvious that there's 26 mins of blank graph on the screen?? Don't believe me? try it yourself.

This isn't the first time I got doubted on on this forum. I still remember the guy who called BS on me for stating there's no such thing as a CSX haha.

Agreed. I, for one, think the exterior looks absolutely atrocious aside from the cool LED headlights. Other than that, the car just looks like an extended ES350/Camry. The current generation looks 10x better. I'd take the GS430 over this with $20k in my pocket if I had the choice.
