My bet is on the V8 ending up in the "F" variant.

It wasn't the ride they had to fix to pump up the sales numbers - it was the looks, price, mileage and things like a usable trunk. The sales numbers are bound to improve some with a new gen but it's still likely to stay 5th (behind E, 5, M, Genesis) or lower in the rankings.

Seems promising regarding being a more fun to drive; the dash, otoh, is a bit of a disappointment from the spyshots.

The key will be how Toyota handles the front end design, the rest of the design looks good (even tho a bit too BMW-esque in the greenhouse).

^^

Unlike Audi, lexus has been using a diffuser in front of the LED array to make the light look more like a bar rather than dots.

Being that DRLs are mandatory now by DOT, its either LED arrays or halogen bulbs, lets not dwell upon it as manufacturers copying Audi.

THANK YOU!

Tired of hearing that crap. Eventually people will forget about Audi popularizing LEDs in headlights, but until then, we get to hear it over and over.... even a single LED on the front end of a car is enough to make some people scream 'blasphemy'

Its not blasphemy, but when a Kia has led running lights and every ricer out there does too, I sure as hell dont want my luxury car to have them

if lexus really does make a midsize luxury coupe, it may be the first coupe and first lexus i ever buy

I was going to keep waiting on acura to make a coupe, but it doesn't seem like they want to.

The interior of a base bmw (1 to 5 series), is probably as bland and boring as can be....all that red or orange or whatever fuckin ugly ass color they use on their gauges blows..without navy, a BMW's interior looks like fucking junk at best..the exterior is fucking beautiful though..from 3 series to 7 series, the sheet metal is stunning...

Audi has the best interior hands down..Not being bias or anything but Acura interiors are very nice looking as well...

Can Audi sue over intellectual property as that front grille is so reminiscent of an Audi..

I don't know if it's the huge wheel gap or that grille or what.... but in this pic at a glance it reminds me of the 8G Accord sedan on steroids. [/msl82]

Scaled LS with a different nose job. Not feeling the wheels nor the white color. Nothing really remarkable about it.

Almost exactly what I thought. I like what I see so far, I just wonder what will make it all the way to production.

Looks more vanilla that I would have thought it would.

The lines of the rear door are "odd".

some of the lines in the sheetmetal are a bit goofy. white paint is not a friend. maybe in black???

anyway, this seems much more toned down than i imagined. the rear detailing does not appear up to snuff for the $$$.

Exactly what I thought when I first saw it. Car has virtually no presence... looks like an appliance. How totally disappointing.

That is the most bland "spy pic" ive ever seen. I'm probably more excited for the new Camry. Can't wait.

As a design culture, the Japanese automotive industry is a mess right now.

It doesn't look horrible. I kinda like the interior.

One thing about the GS is that it's a great Japanese Buick. They are very nice. But boring.

Will probably do well.
