Based on the Hyundai ix25

First images of the compact Kia KX3 concept have leaked into the web.

The model will reportedly go into production in 2015 and is based on the Hyundai ix25. The production variant will be powered by 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter engines, mated to either a dual-clutch automatic transmission or a standard manual gearbox. Four-wheel-drive will be optional.

The KX3 features a radiator grille with irregular shape and LED daytime running lights at the front and familiar design at the back with LED taillights.

The standard equipment will reportedly include side airbags and curtain airbags, a start-stop button, a cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, heated seats, rear ventilation outlets, an automatic air conditioning and a reverse camera.
