Not much of a change. Good news is though that the car is being built in Japan now instead of the US. Build quality should increase by a good margin so that should answer the cars main short coming. I'd take it over a Toyota LandCruiser/Lexus LX470 as far as road-presence and bling factor goes.

The QX is one of the few Nissans that I do NOT like. The 08 looks no better but the interior seems to be upgraded a bit.

Haha, I so don't get the Infiniti/Nissan craze right now... outside of the G35/350Z and a small nod to the M45 their lineup is like stanky pussy (SP for those in the know).

Well, the brand only has what 5 models (G35, M35/45, FX35/45, QX56, Q45); and outside of the slow selling Q's, the rest of the lineup is pretty hot. So 3 out 5 isn't so bad IMO.

it's ironic that the QX/Armada was conceived under Ghosn, considering that one of his earlier statements when taking over was there would be "no more rebadged cars" such as the I35/Maxima and QX4/Pathfinder.

Oh wait, you have an M? I take my comment back then. The M35/45 I like. This reminds me too much of a pre-07 g35.

2011 Infiniti QX
It looks like the new 2011 QX is ready.
Being built in Japan, based on the soon-to-be-announced 7th Gen JDM Nissan Safari.
Also known as the Nissan Patrol to the rest of the world, a competitor to the Toyota Land Cruiser.

It looks really good, IMO. It's only slightly larger than the Enclave, and on par with the LX570 size wise; I think that is the new "right size" now for the largest SUV offerings... Notice that it has a clamshell roof, trimmed in a bit of chrome, with blackout A-Pillars; very simialr to the Range Rover. That's the best feature, IMO, besides both the front and rear lights. What I DON'T like, is the ugly fender vents that are so en vouge right now (started by Buick, it should stay with Buick), and that ugly grill. I'm very disappointed by the grill, both here and on the new M, and it'll undoubtedly spread throughout the entire lineup.
