But within that price range at 33k USD (320, Q50, CLA250, A3, TLX 4 banger, IS250)

Q50 is probably still best bang for your buck for an all around RWD car (well equipped on base model, good performance compared to others and size)

Too lazy to check, but does the Q50 have carplay or android auto? If so, then u can integrate your phone navi with it right?

But nowadays, the Navi is not the same Navi anymore. You can get directions everywhere (near your gauge, navi screen and HUD)

I personally much prefer the navi screen and voice instruction than using a 5.5" phone. Screen is just too small for me to concentrate on the road.
Same...lol....

Not sure. Unless it is absolutely necessary i dont like to use my phone's navi. It drains the battery way too fast. it drains faster than the charge i get my car's USB.

http://www.autoblog.com/2017/03/03/i...1-kers-system/

This is the Infiniti Q60 Black S that will be debuting at the Geneva Motor Show, sporting some intense bodywork and an F1-inspired powertrain. It exists to draw a closer parallel between the Renault F1 program and the Infiniti brand – a relationship that's surely easier to understand in Europe than it is here, but so be it.

Other than the wild bodywork, which includes a heavily sculpted front fascia, bigger side sills, two howitzer-sized exhaust pipes, and a massive rear wing, there's the F1-inspired KERS system. Exactly what that will be is up in the air; the F1 system is complex and expensive. While Infiniti says they want to engineer a road-going solution that's as similar as possible to the F1 KERS system, it's likely it'll be watered down a bit for production.

All in all, the 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 and the KERS system should combine to produce about 500 horsepower. That's all well and good, if it makes it out of concept car purgatory. Remember the Q50 Eau Rouge, the last Infiniti that got car enthusiast's undivided attention? Well, it got canceled. We're not sure what the appeal of an F1 tie-in would be to American shoppers, so who knows if the Black S will emerge as a rest-of-world special, or at all.

In any event, we should have more details around Geneva, so stay tuned.

The rear's styling is overwrought. Not bad, though.

Well, we all know it would be toned down if it made it to production. As a concept car, I think it's kinda cool. A bit too much if it was production ready, but we don't even know if it will hit the market. Interesting, nonetheless though.

Debuting at the 2017 Geneva motor show, the Infiniti Project Black S was an F1-inspired sports coupe for the road. Unlike the team at Mercedes-AMG, the folks at Infiniti weren’t going to stuff the high-revving, turbocharged F1 engine under the hood. Instead, they were looking to install the highly sophisticated Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) into the Q60. Infiniti suggested that this hybrid system would increase the performance of the 400-hp Q60 Red Sport by about 25 percent. Unfortunately for Infiniti fans—and those that love oddball sports cars—Infiniti is reportedly stopping the project before it hits production, according to Automotive News.

The culprit? Infiniti hasn’t given an official reason, but it’s likely that the company’s departure from Formula 1 played a role in the project’s termination. We have reached out to Infiniti for an official word on the project’s end, but haven’t received a response.

Update: A spokesperson from Infiniti says, "Project Black S is not in the immediate future plans for Infiniti, but the reaction to the concept of it continues to inspire us."

Even with its Formula 1 tie-in, this project didn’t have a lot of wind behind its sails. While sports cars will always be a staple for car manufacturers, getting the production nod is always difficult given the potential return on investment for a short-run, high-tech sports coupe—worse now given the continuing declination of car sales in the face of the ever-expanding crossover boom. Add to that the delays caused by COVID-19, and the writing was on the wall for this hopped-up Q60 regardless of its F1 creds.

While it’s a sad day for Infiniti sports car fans, it was the smart move for the company. Given the significant weight it’s putting behind its upcoming QX60 replacement, Infiniti is betting crossover sales are only going to keep climbing. That’s obviously no replacement for an F1-inspired sports coupe, but it’s a good sign for the company.

Update: Infiniti has confirmed the Q60 will exit the market after 2022. Here is an official statement from a company spokesperson:

The Infiniti Q60 sport coupe will not be available in the Americas after the 2022 model year as we focus on the most popular luxury automotive segments such as crossovers and SUVs. The QX55 coupe crossover and the QX60 7-passenger SUV that launched in the past year, as well as the upcoming EV we recently announced will be built at a manufacturing plant in the US, are great examples of our future products that embrace the customer-focused approach and unique design language that have become Infiniti’s hallmarks.

The Infiniti Q60 may be relatively young but it seems like the luxury automaker is already ready to have it retired soon. That's if we're to take a recent report as gospel, which spells the end for the two-door coupe in Infiniti's lineup, for reasons that won't surprise you.

If the report holds true, the arguably good-looking Q60 will only have one generation under its name. The Q60 nameplate was introduced in 2015 as a concept and a successor to the Infiniti G models. The production version was later launched in 2016 in New York for the 2017 model year.

As for the reason for the Q60's demise, Infiniti confirmed to Car and Driver that it's because of the popularity of SUVs and crossovers in the luxury segment. It will also pave the way for the Japanese marque's foray into the EV market – one of which was already teased earlier this year along with a Nissan, both of which will be built in Nissan's Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Mississippi.

The production of the Infiniti Q60 will continue towards the end of 2022. However, units are expected to still go on sale well into 2023, so if you're eyeing buying one of the luxury coupes, you still have time but that would be finite
This isn't the first time that we've heard of the Infiniti Q60's demise. An earlier rumor from last year also announced so, though the reason for the discontinuation wasn't disclosed then. It's important to note that the sales numbers of the Q60 continue to dwindle ever since the turn of the decade.

Meanwhile, the Q60's exit would mean that the Q50 will be the sole low-riding model in Infiniti's lineup come 2024. The trend, however, isn't positive for the nameplate.

We have already contacted Infiniti for any comment about this report. We will update this story once a response arrives.

The moment they renamed the G35/G37 to some WTF Q60, it was destined to be doomed.
