For the money I think I'd rather have a loaded Altima.

Probably not, since it is not all that different.

Hopefully the Q100 (the one with 550hp) will bring more customers to look at Q50.
and by then Hopefully Q50 will have 3 engine options. 2.0L Turbo, 3.0L Turbo and 3.0L Turbo Hybrid. <---- sounds familiar?

Infiniti can join RLX if a fully loaded Q50 sedan cost over $50k.

 

Are the dimensions on this thing similar to the current model? A large compact/small midsize? Is the 3er still the target, I would assume so.

 

I can see the hybrid pushing 50k easy.

the MSRP for the hybrid is going to be over 50k fully loaded.

just like Active hybrid 3 are over 60k.

But it doesn't mean that is how much you will be paying.

with all the government rebate and craps, an Active Hybrid 3 with 60k msrp is cheaper to lease and in some cases, to buy than a similar equipped 335...

I know because I almost got 1.... Active hybrid 3 with Msport package.

 

The Hybrid may be the one to have once we get some test numbers. I'd kill for better city mileage.

 

But it is not going to give you anywhere close to prius.

I'd say mid 20s at best for the city.

 

My drive to work is less than 10 miles, mostly city. I'm hitting 14-17 MPG.

I get better fuel economy in my work cruiser which gets driven a hell of a lot harder too.

So one in the Mid 20s for the city, mid 30s highway would be a blessing.

 

I think the G37s has been about 50k for a few years now, still seems to sell ok. I think the lease deals are more important than the selling price tbh.

 

Coupes and convertibles MSRP'd for that for quite some time and lease deals have always been attractive for these cars.

My '10 sedan stickered for something like $42k, definitely not what I paid, but a year or two later a new sedan with the same options was over 45k. They seem to creep up in price like BMWs, but still lease cheap, like BMWs.

I get about 14-16 MPG at BEST during my rush hour commutes in heavy stop/go traffic.

 

dont think ive ever seen an infiniti ad that marketed MRSP/APR rates instead of monthly lease PMTs.
