This looks damned nice but I'd lease it so I didn't get mauled on resale.

I looks horrible in person, IMO. The interior's okay, but there are still cheap bits in it. Ofcourse, I wouldn't mind that at the right price, but there are better options out there.

I think they were a few K optimistic on pricing. As much as I like this thing, at 46K CAD there are a few other 3 row crossovers I'd likely be giving my money to. Its too bad since Sante Fe pricing is about perfect IMO.

In fact, HMA is in the process of selecting a new ad agency who can assist Hyundai in sending that message, along with enhancing brand image. Basically, the cars aren't the problem. Hyundai's vehicles are getting rave reviews and the quality is way up. It's the image they need to improve, and motivate customers to get in the cars. The most important part in auto sales is to get the customers to get in the car and drive it. The new strategy and the new ad agency will do just that.
This will lead to increased sales, and in turn, enhanced brand image, which will contribute to better resale values and new car sales prices. Hyundai can't keep providing big incentives and discounts or rely on fleet sales. That's how the Big Three failed.

yup. too many hyundai rentals out there. i think it's a good exposure, but could hurt them in a short term.
last year my GF almost bought a brand spankin new sonata v6 with leather for 18.5k out the door. she changed her mind and bought a civic LX for 18k!
