Right now it's between the S2000 and the 350Z but nothing is out of the question.

This topic has been discussed on so many forums. The s2k is assed out. Sure you can FI it... But name a car that can't be de-tuned to run boost?
The average joe who buys an s2k wont be willing to take the risk of running a SC. I know there are people who say that it will keep the warranty. Well to them I say, have fun spending 4+k for 40-50 horsepower.
Any more questions?
EDIT: Oh sorry... 6k+, the kit alone is 6000... And from what I have heard, 100hp at wheel increase is not happening. Im gonna go peruse the s2k forum and see if anything has changed.

This is a car that's designed to compete with the Z3/Z4, Boxster, SLK, etc. It's a fast car for its class and for a damn good price. This class is aimed at a buyer that generally doesn't look to make their car a 12 second car. This class is generally for a buyer that wants to have some fun with a car stock. IMHO

I have never gone and told an s2k owner that he was dumb and then shit on his car... That is just ignorant. I said, IMO that the power is in the stratosphere and the numbers speak more for the car than the performance. (This is typical)
Again, my original comment was NOT an attack on the s2k. It was a comment that I made in passing. And now it has turned into this... If I had thought that someone here was this infatuated with the car that my opinion would've started this mess, I wouldn't have made it. Well I might have made it if this was the s2k forum and I was looking to troll around...
Every car is designed to do it's service stock. When you get a 'performance' car people are rarely ever satisfied. The mod bug will grip you, it always does... You'll want to handle better than the s2k infront of you... you'll want to make the s2k behind you be FURTHER behind you.. It's bragging rights.
The same thing applies to almost any enthusiast (car) market. 4wheeling, dragging, auto-x, road course. The only car I would leave stock is a McLaren F1.
That is a another bag of worms though.

I was complaining about it's useable and practical power. I know that doesnt matter to people, and I understand it. I love roadsters, I know where those people are coming from. I also know a thing or two about usable power, considering that my first two gears are COMPLETELY useless in anything less than 40 degree weather. I'd kill for an s2k right now... at least I could floor the gas =).

the picture of the four door FF concept, is the future JDMAccord/TSX, just like he said. the future s2000 will look way different from that.

ok so can the thread title be changed? I really don't think this is a CGI of the next S2000... quite frankly I don't know what the title would be changed to - just not what it says right now. maybe something like:
Next Gen. Honda S2000 News **CGI of a 4-door Honda concept car (page 2)**

I'm not sure if ya'll got someone to translate that little blurb for the sedan but from what i can tell it says something to the effect that this is Honda's 4-door sports sedan. Something something that has the S2000 engine.
Kind of like the 4-door concept that will be making the rounds as Acura's next-gen TSX...which has also been rumored to have the S2000 engine.
I would think the convertible Honda on the cover of the mag was more the next gen S2000.

Why won't they use a V6 for their next gen sports sedan? Even if it is the S2000 engine, it would still be underpowered compared to the competition.
It clearly showed in the latest C&D where the Accord V6 6-speed ran 0-60 in 5.9 seconds versus the TSX 6-speed's time of 7.2 seconds and the Accord beat or tied the TSX in most categories (lane change, skidpad, etc). It shows how important a good engine is, as the Accord weighs considerably more and has a "softer" or non sport suspension yet performs better.

The new JDM Accord/TSX will be very likely be an 2.0 liter DFI (direct fuel injection) with sh-awd for the top of the line model. 250-270 hps

I don't really see the production version of this keeping that lighting treatment.
