I think the CR-V is the last Honda to actually have a decent interior. I love my car's interior. It's hard plastic, but it's textured in different places, the door handle is chrome, chrome details on the vents, and that horrid plastic metal crap which.
But with the new Euro Accord/TSX, Accord and now the Pilot, it seems Honda is just in love with that fake metal trim.

I think the grille insert being that plastic aluminum makes it stand out even more, but not in a good way. I think had it been chrome like the rest of the grille, it would've looked more cohesive.
But even then, the headlights are just way too big. Not as big as those on the Chevy Equinox, but definitely big enough to look goofy.
And yeah, projectors to halogens. It's a downgrade.

Good lord. Honda needs to realize that being horrifically ugly is not a good way of distinguishing yourself in a crowd.

If I close my eyes and remove the Honda symbols it looks like an oversized Jeep Patriot or Jeep Liberty.
Oh goodness, the MDX looks so much sexier and screams luxurious, while this new Pilot screams Jeep wannabe with an ugly front grill. Sadly though, people will buy this because of the Honda name and the value price of it.

If I bought the new Pilot I would order the plood trim after purchase and install them myself, leaving out the steering wheel and shift knob. I don't know what Honda was thinking...when people think of a wood steering wheel, that is not what they have in mind.
