Honda's decline in its home market is nothing new. It's been happening for years now. Hence the change of CEOs recently. They are doing everything wrong in my opinion. It's no one thing. In brief, everything Nissan is doing right, Honda is either not doing as well as Nissan, or doing totally wrong.

In one sentence: They need new, exciting models.

Sounds like what GM and Ford need here ah?

This is very true. It used to be that FWD was great because when at the time it came out, rwd didn't have the benefit of traction control or snow tires, thus rwd was considered too unsafe in some climates. Also, awd at that time was burgeoning technology.

Now, why not rwd? Traction control and snow tires do a great job these days and awd is now everywhere.

Honda missed the boat here, and that's why I drive an Audi A4 quattro now.

Oh yeah, and add to that the most arrogant and misinformed group of dealers second only to BMW.
