^ tho the power increase is not proportional to the displacement increase. They could have used the TSX/Si tuned version of the K24 if HP was the only need. Something else is going on in there I think.

But that doesn't mean they can't come up with a more spirited version for duty in the TSX and Si.
Probably not.

More power under the curve. I'm too lazy to compare the peak torque numbers from the K24 vs the K25 but I'm guessing it's to improve acceleration, not to inflate the numbers.
I need to stop using quick reply and post things sooner instead of letting it stagnate while I'm in another tab

^^ Thankfully the spy shots look 1000x's better than the renderings.

It's got a butt tumor

i kinda don't like the rear butt hump. the spy pics made it look like the Volvo's shape, but now it looks different from the Volvo's more flattering shape.

I'm not sure if I like, or dislike the rear of the CR-V. I don't like the rear of the current CR-V for sure. This new one looks like an improvement, but the tail lights look like they wrap around the side a little too much. On the red concept car the lights blend, but on a lighter color, I imagine the rear light will be very obvious.

I'm going to go out on a very strong limb and say not only will this CR-V remain the best selling SUV in America, but it will increase its lead.
Unless they completely screw up the interior ala 12' Civic.

The interior pics shown on another website looks promising. IMHO, the new CR-V dash looks to be the best of any Honda.

thank god they decided to keep some of the chrome trim bits to brighten up the cabin. the whole interior with just that gunmetal trim looks cheap. it's prob why i hate the Civic's inside so much, aside from the quality issues.

I think there's a pretty good chance the pics of the start button were taken on a European CR-V. I don't think NA's CR-V's will have it.
Pilot and Ody don't have it so its a good bet that neither will the CR-V.

I'm not too concerned about the start button per se but touch less entry or whatever you call it is a necessity IMO. Not having to take the keys out of my pocket would be a nice feature to have.
And since everyone else seems to have it......time for Honda to as well.

Convenience factors add up. After driving a car with a one-touch sunroof for a while, driving cars without it sucks. Same with having automatic windows up and down. I assume new Acura have these features as well.... ?

My 2005 TL only has it on both front windows which I find a little annoying.
