It gets a steady 33 to 35 mpg.

Best financial decision I've made in a long time.
I had a bitter taste in my month from the amount of money I put into/lost on my CL-S and I do beleive that I will always have a civic in the driveway as a daily driver....
You and I are in the same boat. ALthough, I purchased an 08 SI, I'm going to keep it until the wheels fall off.

i've searched for a certified pre-owned fit and can't ever get any solid leads. that's the ultimate commuter car imo

Post Honda Civic Type S Fireblade Replica for Italy

From WCF...

In honour of the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade sport bike, Honda Italy has announced a limited edition Civic Type S.

Distinguished externally by redesigned front and rear bumper fascias, losing their chicken wire mesh grille look in favor of air vents and diffuser like bottom, respectively.

Additionally, graphite color coded components include mirrors housings, fuel lid cover, door handles and stylish 18-inch wheels plus Fireblade emblems.

Available in Black, Red and Silver, the Civic Type S Fireblade Replica comes with the 140hp 2.2-liter i-CTDi diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission at a price of €25,190 in Italy.

But it still probably has more torque than most other Hondas.

I never got used to the styling of that Euro CTR nor the fact that it has a torsion beam in the rear.... wtf yo

Exclusive Standard Features for Mugen Civic :
* Twin-Ring Motegi track-tuned suspension
* Aerodynamic body styling
* "Cat-back" sports exhaust system
* Highly aggressive spring and damper tuning
* Mugen –forged aluminum wheels measure 18 x 7.5 inches
* High-grip summer tires (215/40R18)
* Front spoiler and sports grille
* Side spoilers
* Rear diffuser
* Adjustable rear wing

The Mugen Civic is a lot more than an appearance package. Most importantly it also sports a track-tuned handling package with full factory warranty. Just the light-weight forged wheels are already worth thousands of dollars.

Not as bad as the retarded looking (literally) Euro CTR. The nose of the new CBR1000RR does remind me a bit of the old R1, but its mainly the side profile thats kinda awkward.

I'd rather just get an Evo IX with all the same features and then some.

^ He said Evo IX (9).

Which means it'd be used and would probably be right around $27-$29K.

Leaked photos of 2009 Civic sedan facelift

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/17/f...tastic-reveal/

Appears that it follows in the footsteps of the previous 2 gen Civics, going from a one-opening lower fascia to a three-opening one. I'd say it looks better now, despite what appears to be a small tumor growing on the lower part of the upper grill trim. Hopefully it doesn't manifest itself into that hideous cancerous growth that is the Acura guillotine grill. The chrome strip on the trunk is tacky...

I think they should have just made it look like this for the hell of it

New wheels on the Si's suxor's.

Why does the 09 Fit Sport have the nicest wheels in the Honda/Acura lineup.

meh, from what I understand there is supposed to be a FMC for the civic for the end of next year, so I would not expect much from these current changes.
