Somehow I don't see that as the production interior for the US model.

Check out this Edmunds video. At least the steering wheel is the same...

Oh, and check out the red sedan in that video (the first one that comes around the corner). It looks like it has a 5 point grille. Is this the Canadian Acura EL?

Oh, I correct myself. The steering wheel is not the same as the Euro one. It's similar though.

That is one disgusting looking car. Is is a van/car/wagon/SUV? What is it?
The interior is very original though, nicely done!

^^^

It actually seems like it has an OEM bodykit...It doesn't look much like the Si coupe in the video I saw.

You reposted the first photo instead of the 3rd:

Definitely a body kit.

It's the bodykit. It seems fine without it.

This is the real interior, without all the green overlay on the steering wheel and armrest (I suspected that was photoshopped):

regarding these latest images...wow, talk about cab forward!

It actually looks good, if a little "busy" and cockpit-like. The pedals don't look nearly as bad as in the first pic. This is the euro-civic though, isn't it, or is it our Si?

And is it just me, or does is that gauge lighting and style very reminiscent of the 05 RL? OOOh and are those heated seat buttons surrounding the cigarette lighter?!

Supposedly that's the coupe's interior, I found on TOV. But looking at the leather wrapped steering wheel, if it is the coupe's interior, I'd bet that's the Si's interior. My guess is that the regular interior would make do without all the silver trim, which I probably wouldn't mind.

It HAS to be the Si interior. Look how many gears are on the manual transmission.

That picture is for the European civic. BTW all civic 5 hatchbacks will have 6 speed transmission. Check out what this guy posted on TOV 20 days ago...

"Here's some news about new civic:
Dashboard will have double dials (like on spy shot of the sedan). The upper dial will be digital and will have a speedometer function, the lower will be the analog rev meter (very nice, round and in the center). I've seen a picture and it looks damn fine, though different. The steering wheel has 3 double spokes and is multi functional.
I only saw one pic for about 20 seconds, but the impression is awesome.
There will be a new warning light: low oil
All civics 5D will have 6 speed transmition (1.4, 1.8, 2.0) and there will be a semi automatic 6 speed (manual with steering wheel pedals cotrol, like Aston Martin Vanquish). No engine specs yet.
...."

Here are the only pics so far of a USDM Si, thanks to user crv16 on TOV....

I absolutely LOVE the interior of the Euro Civic. If the US Si interior is similar, I will be very happy!

Think this is the Euro only interior, you can see in the still shots taken from the edmunds video of the coupe, the manual shifter is of a different type and layout. Also, in the spy pics of the sedan dash, it doesn't have the roundness of this euro interior, its squared off on top...I like it though.

I guess you're right. But the steering wheel looks about the same!

Very revolutionary thinking. 2 layers of dash seem a bit busy. I don't like the silver parts on the steering wheel, but overall, very original.

Think if the car had front double wishbones it would have been a lot better looking.
