If you’re more accustomed to Hennessey focusing its might on American muscle and sports cars, you’re not alone, but it turns out the boffins from Texas can tune up a Brit beast, too. Here, the 623-hp Hennessey HPE600 Jaguar F-Type Coupe R rips up the dyno and the drag strip with all the bravado you’d expect of a boosted Camaro.

Hennessy extracts this performance from the F-Type Coupe R, which is rated at 550 hp from the factory, with the aid of a custom tune, supercharger pulley upgrade, air intake system, upgraded intercooling, and more. There’s also 568 lb-ft of torque on tap, aiding the acceleration of the car to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds—a full half second faster than the standard F-Type Coupe R. The quarter-mile flies by in just 11.4 seconds at a trap speed of 126 mph.

Hennessey’s HPE600 upgrade package is available for all 2014-2015 F-Type Coupe models equipped with the 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine.
