Chinese automaker Geeley has released images of its GT concept ahead of the car's 2008 Beijing Motor Show debut. Although Geeley failed to release any details on the show car — including its powertrain — the two images it did release should hold us over until the car breaks cover at next month's show.

The GT concept's styling can be filed under futuristic and overall, it seems to resemble an over-sized Pontiac Solstice. Several other automakers' design themes can also be seen the GT's lines, but at least the coupe is not a direct knockoff of any other model on the road.

Geeley showed off its Mybo II concept car at last year's Shanghai Motor Show, but the GT looks like it has a much better shot of making production.
