The next m3 should be 4 door only. The M4 replaces the current M3 coupe/cab. Even numbers will be coupes/convertibles and odd numbers will be sedans.

The M5 and M6 are very overweight at this point. The only car that excites me from the BMW future lineup is the Z4 M. There were rumors last year that BMW will not make an M Z4 car. Instead a 260HP I6 would fit under the Z4 and call it something else (to go against the Boxster S). I hope they are making it and I hope it starts at high $40Ks.

whoa there buddy i dont think BMW has to catch up to mercedes at all! i think that BMW has set a new standard for performance/luxury that benz is trying to compete with now
