That's a very nice looking Ford, hopefully the new 3.5L V6 that's coming out should complete the package.

Very nice. I like the white one Fusion the best. The mesh grill looks much better than the bars, IMO.

Those cars need 250hp+ V6s and 6-speed manual transmissions to really be taken seriously by me.

Looking at a picture of the european Ford Mondeo ST220, they look pretty close. Are they the same car?

Looks good. Just read on tov that in the latest C&D magazine, 4 family sedans were tested and the Accord came in #1, but the Fusion beat out Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry for the #2 spot.

I don't think they share the same chassis, I could be wrong though.

BTW, I wish they had used the Mondeo's interior. Although the Fusion's interior has been praised by the media, it still doesn't hold a candle to the top of the line Mondeos overseas.

And that's what pisses me off about American car companies. It's not like they don't know how to make good interiors for USDM cars. They make a conscious choice NOT to.

This car has a lot of potential but they really need a real engine in it

When modified the car looks like an Opel from a couple of years ago. It's the one that has the 4th gen Prelude tails.

Ronjon and I saw this one being worked on at the shop right before sema. It had a sick audio system that went along with all the other custom work.

That Duratec is built to last. But has no performance in stock form. One thing though, is that companies have been making FI kits for them for years. They are a popular upgrade amongst the Contour, Cougar and old Thunderbird crowds. They take to FI very well, and are known to put down good numbers. This is though, if you are willing to void a warranty to get performance out of your car. SVT ahs something in the works, but i say give it the powertrain and drivetrain of the mazdaspeed 6.
