Not bad, but 100lbs heavier & some 5 inches longer.
Bit more power & torque from the turbo-4. Not as good looking as the ND, IMO. |
This angle looks okay, some other angles..I thought it's ugly.....overall I like ND more.

I liked Fiat exterior more...but Im annoyed the interior is the EXACT same. They could have changed that a bit, too.

I think the Fiat is ugly... right away when I saw the first photo and looked at the hood and windshield/A frame, I thought Crossfire.

Having seen the new Miata on the streets now a few times. I'm just not loving it. Its cold and lifeless with a Jaguar ass end. This design has character. To me anyway. |

Since everyone is going retro, maybe Mazda should have put the Flip up headlight back on like the NA Miata with a modern twist. (projector with LED when flipped up)

Not for pedestrians when they get hit. Other than styling changing over the years, I think this is what officially killed the pop ups altogether. I think it's illegal for a new car to have them. Sad, really.

The lights are likely to stay dead, as Europe’s stringent pedestrian-impact regulations make it difficult, costly, and impractical to develop a compliant pop-up headlight. |
No, not really. The design of the Lexus front ends likely reduces injuries if pedestrians are struck. It's not the bumper itself, but more so the overall shape of the front of the car, including the hood angle, etc. pedestrian safety is a huge reason why cars look like they do these days. Ever notice those annoying, triangle windows adjacent to the A-pillar? Those started being implemented due to the overall shape of the car and reduction to pedestrian injury.
If you get mowed down by a car with pop ups, you have two additional "bricks" able to smash into you. Pop ups have resulted in some gruesome injuries in the past. Granted, this stuff only works to a certain extent. If someone hits you at 60mph, you're likely dead, regardless of what hit you. |

front end reminds me of z280, which is not a bad thing. I like this vehicle. Too bad they will be stupidly overpriced
