From here: Ferrari Celebrating 60 Years Of U.S. Sales With $3.2 Million Supercar
Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo last week confirmed his resignation from the company he’s run for the past 23 years, but before he steps down he has one final undertaking—celebrating 60 years of the Prancing Horse’s sales in the U.S. with the unveiling of a new special edition supercar. The U.S. remains Ferrari’s single biggest market, with sales here for the first six months of the year up 13 percent to 1,062 cars, and the country is also home to some of the world’s most discerning Ferrari collectors. In fact, 150 of the 499 LaFerraris to be built are expected to end up here.
During last week’s resignation announcement, di Montezemolo also confirmed that Ferrari will build 10 special cars for the U.S. market to celebrate the anniversary and that he will be in Los Angeles to present the very first one. That presentation will take place in Los Angeles on October 12, the day before Ferrari’s parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is floated on the New York Stock Exchange—after which current FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne will take over as chairman of Ferrari.
According to Automotive News (subscription required), the new special edition will be priced at about 2.5 million euros (approximately $3.2 million) and the 10 planned cars are already sold out. They will likely be based on the F12 Berlinetta, pictured below, and feature a blue exterior with white stripes—the colors used by the North American Racing Team.
All 10 examples are heading to customers in the U.S., some of whom are likely featured in the photo above. Recently, di Montezemolo along with Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa and Enzo Ferrari’s son Piero Ferrari met with six of the world’s leading Ferrari collectors. The group included Jon Shirley, the former Microsoft executive and owner of the 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Scaglietti Coupe, winner of the prestigious Best in Show title at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Stay tuned for the reveal next month. Note, at the 2014 Paris Auto Show on October 2, we’re also expecting to see a new version of the 458, likely a convertible version of the 458 Speciale.

More information/speculation:
US-only Ferrari limited edition could be an F12 NART Spyder
A new report indicates the upcoming US-only Ferrari limited edition will be a spyder version of the F12 Berlinetta.
We already know Ferrari is working on a special edition model exclusively for the U.S. market and more details are starting to emerge. It is believed the model in question will be based on the F12 Berlinetta but converted into a Spyder. The rumor makes sense taking into consideration in the 60s there was a 275 GTB-4 NART produced in a limited series of ten units and all were sold only through Ferrari distributor Luigi Chinetti.
Coincidentally or not, the rumored Ferrari F12 NART Spyder (or something like that) will also be available in only ten examples and all cars have already been sold for $3.2 million a pop. The vehicles will feature a blue exterior with white stripes as a reference to the colors used by the North American Racing Team (NART).
It is believed that aside from turning the F12 into a Spyder, Ferrari will also upgrade the V12 6262cc engine which in the regular model puts out 740 HP (544 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque.
We will know for sure on October 12 when the mysterious model will be officially revealed during a gala dinner. The very next day, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo will step down as Ferrari chairman and will be replaced by Sergio Marchionne.

Ferrari F60 America
Ferrari F60America unveiled | Autocar
Ferrari has revealed an exclusive model, called the F60 America, to commemorate its 60th year in North America.
The company says the car, an open-topped version of the F12 Berlinetta, "combines our American client's two great passions – the V12 engine and open-top driving."
Only ten of the new F60Americas will be produced, paying homage to the likes of the 10-strong production run of the 1967 275 GTS4 NART Spider that was commissioned exclusively for America. Each F60 America cost £1.56 million, a significant premium over the £238,938 of the standard F12 Berlinetta, and all are already accounted for.
Besides the deletion of the roof, the cosmetic changes to the F12 Berlinetta on which the car is based are myriad. The nose, wings and doors have all been restyled, while the distinctive 'aero bridge' found on the tail of the F12 has been removed.
The exterior is finished in North American Racing Team livery and special 60th anniversary prancing horse badges adorn the wheelarches. The two roll hoops are trimmed in leather and backed with carbonfibre-trimmed flying buttresses which stretch to the rear of the car.
Inside the F60America features bespoke cabin trim, with the driver's side being finished in red and the passenger side in black – a reputed nod to historic Ferrari competition cars. The seats also feature stylised American flags, while design cues from the LaFerrari and 458 Speciale – such as the blade-like gear selection panel – have been adopted. A light fabric top is supplied, which closes the cabin and can withstand speeds of up to 75mph.
Power comes from the same 6.3-litre V12 used in the F12, which produces 731bhp and 509lb ft, and power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. A 0-62mph time of just 3.1sec is claimed, the same as the F12 Berlinetta.
The new car will be publicly unveiled at an anniversary celebration gala dinner at the Beverly Hills City Hall on 11 October. Ferrari has also previously displayed a bespoke roofless F12 Berlinetta, called the F12 TRS.
Speaking at the Paris motor show, new Ferrari chief Sergio Marchionne expressed slight frustration at the fact that all the anniversary models had already sold, however. "I'm not saying we should make 20", he said, "but I think we should make the product available."

Press release...
To celebrate Ferrari’s 60th year in North America, Maranello has returned to its 1950s and 60s tradition of producing strictly limited edition, built-to-order cars. The result is the F60America, of which just 10 will be produced. The new car combines our American clients’ two great passions – the V12 engine and open-top driving – and is being unveiled tomorrow evening at an anniversary celebration gala dinner at Beverly Hills City Hall.
The powerful and innovative mid-front-mounted V12 and specific gear ratios underscore the F60America’s wonderfully sporty character. The F60America’s personality is instantly clear from its flanks which are characterised by an innovative diapason design theme. The front of the car is dominated by the classic Ferrari single front grille with chrome finish and integrated air intakes for the brakes.
The cabin’s asymmetrical design highlights the driver’s area with sporty red trim, while the passenger side is black, inspired by the historic Ferrari competition cars. The cabin trim is exclusive with the dash, tunnel and door panels on the driver’s side all swathed in composite materials. The racing seats also feature a stylised American flag motif on the centre of each seat and backrest.
The F60America’s bodywork adopts the classic North American Racing Team livery, and the special Ferrari 60th anniversary Prancing Horse badge on the wheelarches also appears on the tunnel in the cabin.
The wonderfully elegant and unique F60America has entranced US collectors and all 10 examples are already spoken for.

Burning Brakes
IMO those headlights and front grille don't look all that great. The headlights look like eyes that have been pulled back... similar to how old women with too much plastic surgery look. The front grille just emphasizes the weird face look of the front end.

Not a fan of it either. Hate the interior, exhaust is and the tail lights look like they stick out a lot more.
