Serious?
I mean if its real then there should be LOTS more pics of it. I mean that pic's background is at a car show. Not really a secret.

The car in question at the auto show may not be the avenger, but it is not a chop. Everything about the pic says original. The lighting, glare on the body, reflections, shadows. Even professionals have a hard time creating something that good. And i dont care how good you are in photoshop, it is hard as hell to get good tinting of the red paint from the lights.

my mom's friend had a orginal Avenger. That thing SUCKED.
#1. seemed like it ate brakes 1-2 sets a year
#2. after a tie rod snapped it caused the car to flip multiple times which ended up being totalled.
hopefully dodge got their sh!t together with this Avenger.

2007 Dodge Avenger
http://www.thecarconnection.com/Enth...78.A10327.html
Dodge engineers have begun testing their four-door spin-off of the next Chrysler Sebring. Whether it will be called Stratus or Avenger is a subject of speculation, but there is no doubt that it takes its design inspiration from the Dodge Charger. Although the resemblance to its Sebring platform-mate is clear, the Dodge gets a distinct front fascia, a unique C-pillar design and - judging from the camouflage on the rear fender and door - a Charger-style rear fender arch. The prototype's taillights are also finished almost identically to those on the Charger.
When viewed in profile, the new Dodge has a more formal rear window slope compared to the Sebring, which features a fastback design. The result is a flatter, longer-looking trunk lid on the Dodge, which almost looks as if it has been lengthened a bit. It's more likely that it's an optical illusion and not a dimensional shift, but we can't be sure from this first sighting.
Prototypes for the next Sebring have been regulars on the testing circuit for about the past eight months. It seems logical to assume that since this prototype for the Dodge version has just appeared, it's likely to reach showrooms at least six months after the new Sebring goes on sale.

Looks like a charger to me.
I used to love the Avenger when it first came out. That's when I got my license and it was my (reasonable) dream car.

The Avenger concept ended up shrunken and plopped on the market as the POS Dodge Caliber. I'm tired of seeing these Durango wannabes all over. They're ALMOST as bad as the Neon.
