Those wheels are nice, but what's under the hood?

The base Cobalt looked too 'Civic' to stand out. This just looks like a riced out Civic lookalike.

I would like to see the numbers behind the car before I pass judgement, though.

Junkster, who prefers the look of the Focus to the Cobolt.

Isn't this the replacement for the Cavalier? If it is then it looks a lot better than its predecessor, which is a good thing for GM.

Agree, wing is beat and the rear is a theft from the Skyline. Interior is boring.

A step in the right direction for Generic Motors.
But will it drive all mushy and American?

Also, Chevy has to stop being the top choice of rental fleets. This has "$19.95 per day Sub-Compact" written all over it.

It will be positioned slightly up-market from the Cav. Hence, the 160 hp option. The Daewoo-built Aveo will cover the lower end of the market.

Hmmm....thought the Cobalt was supposed to look quite a bit different than the current Cavalier/Sunfire... I was sure that I saw a Cobalt in the background of some television interview with a spokesperson, and it didn't really look like that (I don't think....).

But, it's ugly. The front end doesn't look that much different from before, and the general lines of the car are also very similar. As for the rear, I'm guessing Chev got a great deal on googly rear lights, so when they did the Impala, they ordered tonnes of them. Now they're trying to use them up since they figured out they're ugly as sin.

The interior looks a little better at least the centre control area doesn't look like it came straight out of another GM product, but it's still kinda ugly. And about those seats...first, they're ugly, and second, what is it with the vast flat, unbolstered seats? Don't they know about G-forces and how your butt tends to slide around in turns? Aren't they marketing this as a more high performance car?

My problem is consuming 40 hours of time each week. Would you like me to PM you my conversation with the moderator outlining which types of posts are acceptable? Lay off my back censor.

I don't need to hear your excuses...nor do I care what the other mods said to you.

What IM saying to YOU is to chill out with the name calling and insults. You need to vent go somewhere else.

Well you're obviously on some type of nerdy internet forum moderator power trip. You asked what my problem is, and you can't accept an honest answer!

I did not threaten any violence like you stated TSEAN did even though he only said "if I was your father I would run you over with my TSX", as well as "if I see you driving I will run you off the road"...there was no such violence in my statement. As far as personal attacks. I don't believe calling someone a JACKASS is a personal attack. Do I really know this person? or am I expressing my own opinions about this persons statements? Get with the program you guys are nothing but censors.

Answer me this, do you actually get paid for this or do you do it for free?

Ok ... one more time ... you MAY NOT VERBALLY ATTACK MEMBERS. You don't think calling jackspat2 a jackass is a personal attack? oh boy It had absolutely nothing to do with the topic.

Everyone else does just fine here without the derogatory comments ... why not you?

As for the getting paid .... none of your business, but of course I don't. I am a TSX owner helping to run a TSX enthusiast site ... period.

Look...its easy to see you don't like it here...nor do we want you here...so go do everybody a favor...go troll somewhere else. This is not the only TSX forum in the web. Heck start your own since you have so much free time.

Answer to your question...it's none of your BI.
