also, 1.2 G's on the skidpad..........
Speaking of bests, the Z06 Corvette is also the fastest production car to loop GM’s 2.9-mile Milford Road Course, besting the C6 Corvette ZR1’s time by a full second. The new car also clobbered the Corvette’s previous top mark for roadholding as measured by GM, with the Z06 pulling a lateral-acceleration number of 1.20 g, compared with the previous Vette record of 1.13 g.

those #s look very similar to the winner of greatest drag race 4.

i guess we will find out in the Greatest Drag race 5 if it really can do what it claims.

The C7 Z06 can finish the 1/4-mile in <10.4s @ >140 mph. 127 is kinda slow for a 650-hp Z06 with a drag coefficient of 0.29 and frontal area of 20 sq ft. It just reached 365 km/h at the Nordschleife!

I did 0-60 in 3.6, 0-100 in 5.2, the 1/4 in 9.9 @ 136, and reached 213.5 mph in the new Z06. I got a video to prove it!

If my RS 7/Impala thread was closed, why isn't this one closed? It's kinda similar in behavior.

The only similarity is your nonsense posts. This thread unlike yours actually has quality info in it. The only thing that might happen is to remove the nonsense posts of yours from this thread.

definitely take a look at the C&D test sheet.... crazy good...

http://media.caranddriver.com/files/...lete-specs.pdf

love this bit about the braking:
We did eight stops because we didn't believe what the test equipment was telling us after the second sub-130-foot-stop. All but the first stop were less than 135 feet. This refedines braking performance. Unbelievable.

I think they hit a home run with the A8 transmission. I've actually driven one (on a non-ZO6)...it was pretty darn amazing.

It's a smooth shift! A lot of people are dissing it because it's not a true dual clutch, but it's sweet.

They'll start making ZO6's with the A8 later this month.
