Looks awesome; though I think it would look much better in another color. That beige just reminds me too much of 1977.

Z06 is going to be the one to beat on the streets now no matter how much $ you have. Maybe the Lambo Merc can take it out but that will be a close race too for $450,000 less hahah.

Buying hte new Z06 is a win/win as far as price/performance goes. Nothing tops it

And with displacement on demand, let us not forget, that car will be running like a ~3.15L 4 banger when you are just 'puttering around' (if that's possible with a Vette)

uh huh emissions wise i'm not going to argue but don't tell me that a big displacement v8 will net the same MPG than my v6. Don't give me suggested number by the car makers.

The current Vette gets 20-25 in the real world, if not driven with a lead foot. 1-4 skip and a 6th gear ratio that has you revving between 1500-2000 at 70 or so helps. This is from the real world, I have driven a 2000 C5 6MT Vert on many occasions. To Phoenix and back the trip computer reported 27.5 MPG and math at the pump gave us 27.457. Within the city the computer has shown 20~25 consistently, though that has never been verified at a pump. The car is still fairly new, though, only 9k or so on the clock today.

That car is nasty, mean, and gritty looking...totally has a 'don't F*ck with me' look about it.

i don't get it...this c6 looks like it shares the exact same chassis as the c5....seems like its just a re-freshening vs a re-engineering

nope it is the "brand new model".

Not much of a change for that boy

I bet they took a torch to a wax model of a C5 and melted and drooped the edges and such so now it'll look like complete ass. That's what all the spy shots give the impression of.

those spy shots don't excite me very much, hopefully it's just because that camo is doing it's job and I'll be amazed when it's finally released... hopefully.

Ok, whatever Just because its "underpinning" is all new doesn't mean that it still won't look like another GM design that is already 15 years old when it hits the showroom floor. At least give it an interior that is better than Hyundai...that would be a start!

There isn't any hatred in this thread...

Were just sick of seeing a parts bin GM...

Easy buddy, eaaaasyyy! You post an old pick of a car and now you're putting down NSX? I thought that this forum had a user age minimum put in place
