The M3 is somewhat common because its a great enthusiasts car and doesn't cost a fortune. We all know it has garnished more praise from the automotive press than most performance cars have.

Not to mention, its been out since 2001.

The AMG Cclass was never a big hit..... because its a bit pricey, auto only, small for a 4dr, doesn't look much different than a regular Cclass sedan, and has never really received over the top reviews.

Audi S4's are around, not as common as M3's.......but the B6 S4 didn't come out until what? 2003. Not to mention as a performance car, the S4 was never as popular as the M3 (even going back to the B5).

I know, just felt like explaining the situation to those that might not be aware of why M3's are not the most uncommon of animals..

Holy mother of...the Audi's are that pricey? Well, with the recent Corvette Z06 news, who wants German?

but god I love my B5 S4. stock for stock the M3 is the winner at a low 13 but upgrade the turbos on the B5 and the m3 cant touch it. Its not uncommon to see a high 11sec B5.
